Ghajini has already rocked all cinema houses after the copyright issues with the original Tamil producers got resolved. There was a fear of postponing of Ghajini during its release as Chennai High Court had stopped the screening of the film just a day before the film’s release. However, the Mumbai High Court ruled in it’s favour and Ghajini went live on Christmas. We all know the story after that when it went on to become the most successful Bollywood movie in such a short span of time gathering over 170 crores gross in 10 days. The copyright issues seems to have been resolved but there is another fresh case appearing. Pratibha Naithani a lecturer at St Xavier’s College, Mumbai has filed a PIL “in the interest of children” at the Mumbai High Court challenging the U/A certificate received by Ghajini. She states that there is too much violence in the movie to be provided with an U/A certificate and the hearing of the case is slated for next week. She is already won a PIL in the past which forced TV channels to stop telecasting A rated adult films on the idiot box. Lets wait and see what happens but Ghajini has already made enough moolah and this would hardly affect its box office collections. :)
